Senior Biostatistician

Focused on medical image analysis

The perfect match is a statistician eager to apply biostatistics to the analysis of medical data. Ideally, someone who can design and conduct statistical analysis of medical data but is passionate about analyzing the data in context, looking for patterns to help make decisions and build cutting edge products.


Someone who is able to understand our methods by extracting all their potential from the results obtained and fitting a seamless match with the clinic requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute high quality statistical analysis of large data sets, cleaning, analyzing and interpreting collected data to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze results for clinical trial experiments and contribute to the Clinical Science Reports (CSR)
  • Be familiar with Good Clinical Practice, compliance and regulatory environment
  • Help your team with the planning, analyses and the decision making process.
  • Support developers to produce pipelines with more relevant biomarkers.
  • Investigate on new methods for image analysis.

 

Requirements:

  • BSc or higher in relevant subject (Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Data Mining, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in data analysis and communication about data, including time series analysis, campaign analysis and data visualization.
  • Experience in SAS, R or STATA programing
  • Experience managing medical data (highly valued).
  • Good verbal and communication skills.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience on clinical trials analyses together with CRO collaborations will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging processing tools and algorithms (highly valued).
  • Experience treating medical data, and ideally with imaging data (DICOM and NIFTI formats)
  • Experience in Agile Methodology.
